Business is everywhere
Do you like the ability to buy and sell whatever you please? I do too! One of the reasons for us to be in college is because we want to specialize in some field, so we can sell our service to a company or a particular person. This is a characteristic of the free market that we live in. Free market is associated with a capitalist economy, which is “an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations” (Capitalism). I am certain you know everything about that from history and government classes. We are the type of society that wants to make a business out of everything. With the popularity of Second Life and its proximity to real life, we can expect people try to make a living out of it. However, the real question is; what is the nature of business that we can find in Second Life?

"Capitalism." Dictionary.com Unabridged. Random House, Inc. 12 Nov. 2009. .

This source is an online dictionary. A service provided by Ask.com. The content of it is a straight definition of capitalism. Which is an economic system with a free market. In this free market services are changed for currency, in our case Dollars.
